After pondering about page design a bit more, I realized that my URL lists are getting longer than usual. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but they push "Recent Posts" and "Archives" sections a bit too far down the page.
So, I spent more time on the template, and moved those sections up so that they're easier to access. With that, I also moved the blog description to the page header, to make side panel less clutter.
To spice things up even more, I messed around with CSS rules so that the side panel is divided into two parts. The top part will have profile info and blog navigation sections, while the bottom one will have all the interesting links.
Now, the only thing left is to find the avatar image that suits the blog. But that's for later.
