How things will be done

Usually, I'm not a person who would express my personal life to the public, so the blog here will be devoted to something else. Probably something technical, in the area of my study (and work): programming. Some other stuff of interest will also be Dhamma, since it's a big part of my life already.

Languages used will mainly be English and Thai. Sometimes, though, when I'm in a mood, it'll also be Lao. With the help of UTF-8 encoding (which is the default encoding used here at Blogger, BTW), having multiple languages on the same blog is not really a problem.

The only thing to look out for (for user, specificallly) is that one must have a set of Unicode fonts that support these languages.

  • For English, it would be Verdana (which can be found virtually on any PC on the planet).
  • For Thai, it would be Tahoma (very common also).
  • For Lao, it would probably be Saysettha OT (the OT stands for OpenType). This font is not so widely used as the other two, but can still be found quite easily via Google [http://www.laohub.com/static_html/lang/key_guide.php]
